
Dorothea is leading the Open Innovation in Science Impact Lab “Action for Sustainable Future hub” at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. They are passionate about facilitating new forms of working together between different stakeholders and enabling collaborations between scientists, artists and actors from civil society. In addition, Dorothea teaches classes on the entanglement of science, society and the environment at the Department of Science and Technology Studies at the University of Vienna. Prior to leading the lab, they completed a PhD in Science and Technology Studies on the topic of climate change visuals in popular science magazines.

Lab Coordinator, Open Innovation in Science Impact Lab – Action for Sustainable Future hub
As lead of the Action for Sustainable Future (ASF) hub Dorothea coordinates the implementation of the Open Innovation in Science Impact Lab. This includes managing the call for projects, the application process and accompanying support offer for submitters or the communication with various stakeholders, such as the transdisciplinary Sustainabilty Board of the ASF hub. Dorothea also sets up a Capability Building and Open Innovation Support program for the key projects selected within the ASF hub call.
