LinkedIn profileChiara Cardelli is project manager at the LBG OIS Center and works in the European IMI project Screen4Care. She is passionate about applying her scientific background, her knowledge of the research environment and her organisational skills in connecting science with society and knowledge with impact. After receiving her PhD in Computational Physics at the University of Vienna in 2018, she worked as the science communicator and event manager of the research institute IQOQI-Vienna (Austrian Academy of Sciences). She also developed scientific education and communication projects in the non-profit environment, where she got passionate about the role of Citizen Science and Open Science practices for sustainable development.

Community and implementation management
Chiara manages the institute OIS community and organizes its network meetings. Chiara also connects the OIS Center to various national and international relevant networks and communities. She also works in the European IMI project Screen4Care, where the OIS team identifies and prioritizes stakeholders, and designs and implements co-creation processes to involve them in the development of a European platform for the diagnoses of rare diseases.
