A look back at the OIS zam: Forum 2024
The third OIS zam: Forum took place on September 13 and 14, 2024, and once again, it was an exciting exchange with the OIS community. Despite challenging weather and flooding conditions, dedicated participants made their way to the forum. Researchers, patients, citizens, students, and practical experts discussed at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg what is needed for successful collaboration between science and society.
42 projects that have successfully implemented participation and inclusion presented themselves at the forum. In addition to the project presentations, the event also provided space for exchange and networking over both days. Theme cafés invited discussions on public engagement, art and science, as well as history with a future perspective.
This year, the OIS zam: Prize was also awarded. Through voting, three winning projects were selected from the presented projects, each receiving 2,000 euros for activities related to their awarded project.
